Perimeter Fencing
Schools have an obligation to secure their perimeters so that visitors’ access is limited to approved entrance ways. The fences on perimeters also need to have excellent aesthetics (so as to make sure the school looks welcoming to children and parents alike!) as well as providing good vandal resistance qualities. Schools also have requirements for internal fences, mainly for playgrounds and sports pitch surrounds such as tennis courts and football pitches.

Ball Stop Fencing
Ball Stop Fencing is a general description of a perimeter designed to prevent the escape of balls during play. Requirements will vary depending on the leisure or sport application and the constraints placed upon it by its location. Add this to the security requirements and the need for an aesthetically pleasing finish to a project and it soon becomes clear that there is no single solution that suits all applications. Mesh panel construction enables the fence to be taken to heights on 5m behind goals and other areas where greater protection for neighbouring sites is deemed necessary.
Ball Return Fencing
The highest specification of ball stop fencing is required where the fencing is integral to the courts use. Typically this “ball return” is in a five aside football application. In this situation it is usual to have the lower 1.2m reinforced. This provides the perimeter fence the the extra strength required to cope with the additional forces applied to it during its life.

Multi Sport surfaces (often known as MUGA pitches) offer cost effective solutions for facilities seeking to meet a wide range of sporting demands.
